It depends on the individual building, not the suburb. 10 of the 40 buildings we have checked in Main Beach permit short stay letting under their by-laws. Council approval for the use can be a separate question again.
Are pets allowed in Main Beach apartments?
It is decided building by building, in the by-laws recorded in the community management statement for each scheme. A Queensland body corporate cannot refuse a pet unreasonably, but the by-laws are where the argument starts. We are working through them building by building and have not verified the Main Beach schemes yet.
